K2 Rocker Technology Rocker Technology Overview
Baseline With Baseline, the profile of a ski determines who it is for and where it is designed to go. K2 skis Baseline Technology blends camber with varying degrees of rocker, providing benefits of each to create superior skis. Where camber supplies edge hold, control and rebound, rocker provides a greater degree of versatility, ease and an increased sweet spot. Certain skis require more or less of each, and focusing on Baseline ensures K2 skis are unveiling the most versatile line of skis for all ability levels and snow conditions. K2 skis have six different Baseline designs based upon the performance goals of the target customer.
Camber Camber is built into a ski for edge hold, control and rebound. A ski designed with traditional camber makes contact with the snow at the traditional contact points (TCP) regardless if the ski is unweighted, weighted or engaged in a turn.

Speed Rocker Speed Rocker is designed for firmer snow This slightly elevated tip and increased tip length provides effortless initiation and flawless transitions, while camber along the rest of the running surface delivers race-ski precision, power and edge-hold.

All-Terrain Rocker Most versatile Baseline available. Featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Powder Rocker Powder Rocker is designed for deep snow. The tip has the most elevation and longest measurement of Rocker and offers skiers a "surfy" feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge-hold on firmer conditions.
